Seeking Help With Some Challenges in Pixelover.

Hello, I’m currently using Pixelover after purchasing it.

While using the tool, I’ve come across some parts that are a bit tricky to adjust or unclear, so I wanted to ask if there are any plans to improve these areas or if improvements might be possible.

  1. When setting animation keys, easing is automatically applied, and when looping the animation, the transition from the last frame back to the first has unwanted acceleration/deceleration. Is there an option to disable easing?

  2. When importing animations from Blender, the entire animation track length is converted into a unit called “Position” in Pixelover. Since the frame positions in Blender and the Position values in Pixelover use different scales, it’s quite difficult to align the timing as intended. For example, when I imported an 8-frame animation, the position was set to 0.24, and the values change by about 0.3–0.4 per frame, which sometimes causes strange results.

  3. Is there an outline drawing method that works per material? Using “normal line” works somewhat, but the lines sometimes appear cut off. Having outlines drawn per material would be very helpful.

  4. Is it possible to assign palettes per material? Sometimes unexpected colors are applied to certain materials, making it difficult to manage.

I apologize for sending so much feedback right from the start. Thank you!

Hello,
1) you want the last key doesn't ease with the first one ? In this case you should disable loop of the animation, for the whole animation (the loop icon next to the play pause button) or per track by selecting a track and disable wrap.
2) Ah yes in Blender they use frames, this unit can also be used in pixelover but this doesn't change the length value, it's a point of improvement indeed.
3) No there was some limitation which prevented to be added on material level, but of course it could be very useful, this will need to be review to be added in a future update.
4) Yes, by editing the material directly in pixelover, you can check this tutorial to do so : Material editing - PixelOver Manual
Don't apologize for this, feedbacks are always useful, thank you!

Thank you for your response!

I didn’t realize that question 4 was actually a basic feature — I completely overlooked it.
Your help has been very valuable.
