Thank you for reporting the issue regarding the card “41013” (Cypher: Doug Ramsey) in version 0.5.9.4. However, it seems that the save file you shared is broken, and we are unable to reproduce the bug on our end.
Could you please double-check the save file?

Oh, sorry about that. I am afraid I do not have the save file anymore :( If it helps, in a different game the response triggered, but only when the ally was defeated because of consequential damage. When it was defeated by retaliate, it did not triggered. And with just an attack, it did not trigger.
