I am a programmer who wants to create NSFW games, but I am nothing of an artist (though I am really willing to learn).
My goal is to create a simple character customization in a NSFW game, allowing to change breast size, skin color, hair, some clothes.
I want to create something that looks like what can be found in the itch.io projects hyperdeep or waifus love room (I love the anime style!). Or else, but it seems more difficult to me, something realistic. In any case, I would like them to be rigged so I can animate my characters.

I've made some research and I know it is a difficult quest. But I have time and I am willing to learn. My question is how would you proceed if you were me and had the time to learn? What tools could I use to help my journey?

Honest advice: buy an asset for the base character model and work outwards from there. Any character creator tutorials will teach applicable skills and techniques for what you want to do.
