Unfortunately I cant provide the saves of my playthrough since I deleted them after I finished it however I started a new game to see if the problem persisted and it did. This save file is right before collecting the second feather after which I am supposed to get the feather key however it never shows up in my inventory despite the text saying that I have obtained it.

I gave a look at the code and script, everything looks fine and it hasn't been changed since the beginning, however I isolated the issue there, so I suppose it somehow broke during time, not sure why. I'll be releasing a patch this summer, in hope of gathering more bug reports in order to release a patch fixing multiple issues.
In the meantime, I fixed your save file which I have Uploaded on MEGA.nz, let me know if you'd prefer another host:

As for those encountering the same issue, you can actually fix it by yourself by pressing F1 to open the console and writing "AddItem Feather_Key 1" then execute as shown in the screenshot I took here:

This is just a temporary fix until a patched build will be released during this summer (August or later).
