1. Narrative Designer: Develop story, lore, character backstories, factions, quest ideas, and contribute to the game's tone. Imagination is key. Unpaid, remote. Offers creative impact, portfolio building, credit, and potential future revenue share.
2. Marketer: Build awareness for the Itch.io release. Assist with strategies, social media content (posts, videos/GIFs), target audience research, streamer outreach, community management, marketing materials, and performance tracking. Passion for indie/survival-sandbox games, strong communication, and creativity needed. Unpaid, remote. 3. Game Designer (Idea Contributor): Brainstorm new features, mechanics, items, crafting, building, environments, and creatures. Provide feedback on "DevTest" builds. Imagination and passion for survival-sandbox games required. Unpaid, remote. Offers creative influence, early access to builds, design impact, collaboration, potential idea implementation (with credit), credit, and potential future revenue share. 4. 2D Environment/Item Artist: Design and illustrate tilesets, backgrounds, props, and item sprites consistent with the game's art style. Experience with 2D art software and portfolio required. Unpaid, remote. Offers direct contribution to visual identity, game art experience, portfolio building, credit, and potential future revenue share. 5. Technical Writer/Wiki Manager: Create player documentation (tutorials, item descriptions, lore, UI, FAQs), potentially manage a community wiki, and assist with the Game Design Document (formatting, notes, consistency). Excellent writing and organizational skills needed. Unpaid, remote. Offers contribution to player experience, technical writing/GDD experience, portfolio building, credit, and potential future revenue share.
