Hey, just wanted to drop an event idea I’ve been sitting on. This one’s more in the slow-burn psychological horror zone rather than direct threat or jumpscare stuff.
The Premise:
Sometime 10-30 days in you spot a figure standing silently outside your window in the dark (think kerfur walking past vibes). They don’t do anything. Just staring. If or when you eventually try to get outside, the figure will be gone. That’s it. No big audio sting, no warning; just a weird little moment. Could almost be a hallucination.
Then much later, maybe Day 40 or beyond; you find yourself outside the building, looking into the window. And you see… yourself. Your past self, inside the lab, looking out at you. It'd have to be scripted as to where you end up standing obviously, and getting a "replay" of your own gameplay sounds like a nightmare, but could be a parallell universe lab with another version of you reacting differently.
Maybe it’s a flash. Maybe the window’s reflective for a second. Maybe it plays out exactly like what you saw earlier. But there’s this realization that you were both people. Or maybe… you weren’t?
It’s very Tenet-style, very “what the hell is time here anyway,” and it’d fit perfectly into the slow descent into paranoia that the game nails so well already. Would love to see more reality-bending moments like that; subtle, disorienting, and deeply wrong in a way you can’t put your finger on right away.
Just putting it out there in case something like this could live somewhere in the future builds. Love the game.
