Player controls a hero and can hire units, build towers to protect his castle from incoming huge waves of enemies
in general i'm looking to make a small demo that we can upload on itch
if that demo gets enough attention, we could upscale the game, otherwise - we could go for a different idea
◆Level system◆
Each unit, including player and enemy units, levels up whenever they land a hit on their opponent or use their abilities
- Stats increase automatically
- Stat gain depends on unit type (warriors get more HP and some attack, healers - increase mana pool and a lil bit of everything else)
◆Units◆
Units try to stay in a certain area around player’s hero
Whenever units leave that area, even if they are engaged in combat they run back inside the area

At unit’s max level
Player’s hero abilities
- Strong Attack ability
- A lot of hp
- Heal ability - heals only other units
- area mana regen - creates an area where all units regenerate an amount of mana thats double of its use cost over time
Healers
- Weak attack ability
- mana regenerates very slowly
- Single target heal - can heal all units
Warriors
- Decent attack ability
- A lot of HP
All units hp regenerates very slowly, making it important heal using abilities
◆Building◆
Units can be hired in structures that player needs to build manually
- Limited number of units per structure
Can also build defensive towers - they’re stronger than low level units, but can barely stand against even a single decently leveled up unit.

earned by killing enemies
proportional to killed enemy’s level
◆Upgrades◆
Each structure provides upgrades for units it spawns
Warriors barracks
- Taunt ability
- Minor health pack (consumable)
Healers shrine
- Minor mana pack (consumable)
- Defense buff ability (increase defense of its target for a short time)
Blacksmith
- Upgrade warriors armor, weapon damage
- Upgrade healers mana pool and mana regen
Castle
- Upgrade hero armor, weapon damage, mana regen, hp regen
