I can't tell if I'm supposed to just guess the controls or I'm just dumb and missed something, but I have no idea how to hit the ball. Tried hitting every key. Nothing. I guess I'm just not patient enough.

Spacebar hits the ball, but you also have to be standing directly over it, much like in golf. Hope this helps!
