Outline glitches when using world canvas

When I try to use outline or dropshadow on a World Space canvas, the outline/dropshadow glitches and makes the text extremely large. Reducing the outline width reduces the text size but makes the outline disappear.

Using a non-ultra shader yields similar results. My Unity version is 2022.3.45f1. Using an Overlay Canvas works normally, but I need a World Canvas for my purposes.

Developer

Hello!

Will try this in Unity 2022 soon, but I've been doing a lot of stability updates to shaders that will hopefully be published soon. I was experiencing text overlapping like that at one point, but have not been able to reproduce it since... I feel that this might be an issue more related to the problems with event-based things being broken in newer unity versions rather than shader issues, and I'm still working on those! If you send me an email through my website I can send you a patch of how STM is currently, but I'm not completely sure it will solve this issue just yet.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Thanks for the reply!

I also got a similar issue (didn't want to do a double-post for it) but on the regular Overlay Canvas. Sometimes the dropshadow overlays with the regular text, and one kinda masks the other, and the text looks glitchy.
This is what happens on the Game View. On the screenshot below is the Game View, so what it should look like:
(Note that it doesn't happen every single time)

As for the patch, I've sent an e-mail to the address on your website as well if you want to send it.
