Console commands to change difficulty and question VAR

Following the instructions at the start, i went to the console commands, couldn't find WHERE you change the difficulty, searching online, you mentioned that by writing VAR in the console command you can. I went there but the window is extremely small, barely 3 lines worth of text. Searching there, the only variables that makes sense is Difficulty_ExceliaMultiplier 0.5  / Difficulty_MonsterLuck 10

These 2 are the only ones that seem to make sense. The excelcia I suppose controls how much excelia each monster gives and the monsterluck? How good the monster are at throwing dices? But even when monster luck is set to 0. The frogs of the level 5 still kill me with no difficulty. Im after bell runs to the dungeon due to bete making fun of him.

Can you tell me at least, what do these 2 variables do and how do I change difficulty?

Difficulty_MonsterLuck is the modifier added to the monsters' attacks. When editing a variable, make sure to press the button "SET" which appears all the way on the right of the variable. If, despite that, you still get easily killed try "Normal difficulty" since not all variables are exposed in there, changing difficulty mid-game is not really a thing.

Also, make sure to never be ill equipped, the game used to be easier during R35 or before because some items and features were missing, now the game has been rebalanced with the expectation that you'll always have  a few potions, morbuls, smoke balls, etc.

Thanks, but how Curious... After testing things I thought for sure that monsterluck 10 refers to the 10% increase in droprates. Since in normal its 0. but in hard is 10. Then i tried to SET it to 8000 to see if that did anything... but wether its the monster drop or the monsters attacks, it did I did not notice it. In the end, I escaped all battles until I reached the end of floor 6.

I remember it's used as a modifier for monster attacks, but it's also possible that it's used for monsters' drop rates as well
