Need feedback on page and demo for GREED GRID

Hi, friends!

I just released a page and demo for the game GREED GRID and I would like to hear your feedback on both. The game is at https://pavelmitov.itch.io/greed-grid. It is a puzzle game with several new mechanics such as limit on number of moves per puzzles and a recharge mechanic. Both are intended to force the player to carefully plan and execute the solution to the puzzles rather than brute force them. Specifically, I would like feedback on the gameplay components - difficulty (it has 3 difficulty modes) and variety of challenges.

Any other feedback is also greatly appreciated - the graphics, the sound design, the writting...

Thank you!

I really don't like this game. I tried the first level four times and I could not figure it out. I would have been more willing to try a bit longer if there was any kind of tutorial and if it didn't take so long to retry. I like sokoban games. I do not like this game.

Thanks for the feedback! Next week I will include an extra level in the beginning as a tutorial and make respawning a little bit quicker. I will post here when it's done.

I fixed the issues you pointed out. If you can give the game another try, I will be very happy. Thank you :)

I fixed the issues above. The following were changed:

  • Added brief Tutorial to the demo
  • Added demo for both 32 and 64 bit Windows, as well as for Mac OS and Linux
  • Made respawning instantaneous, saving players a few seconds everytime they died.

Fixed the following minor things:

  • Soundtrack didn't always triggered when required after saving the game.
  • Fixed a typo in the trailer.
