Looking for feedback on my little rogue-like game

Hello everyone!

"Hell's Bells" it's a little 2D side-scroller rogue-like/survivor-like game I've been working on.

The objective is to survive for 30 minutes against an undead horde and escape alive. You can upgrade your weapons, buy enhancements, and collect infinitely scaling items to improve your chances of survival.

I'm looking for feedback on the gameplay loop and mechanics, as all visuals and sounds are mostly placeholders. They're there just to avoid having only capsules and squares without sound (though there are a few simple sprites here and there).

I would really appreciate any help!

This is a really solid game. The controls were a little stiff and some of the upgrades were a little underwhelming all in all I give Hells Bells a 9/10. I am confident it will be an an amazing game one day.

Thank you so much for your feedback!!

I'd love to hear more about why you felt the controls were stiff. I think playing for so long has made me a bit numb to things like that, so I'm really interested in understanding the issue better to improve it! :)
