Cover image not updating on previews

Hi all,

I published a game on my page and posted my game on various social media and messaging system like whatsapp and telegram. Then I changed that cover image, I can see the new cover in my homepage, but if I put the link on whatsapp chats or facebook posts, the preview is stuck on the old cover image.

What can I do?

Those websites cache the images indefinitely. There’s nothing Itch can do about it.

You can try changing the URI minutely, like adding a useless query parameter or maybe a fragment (e.g. #asdf).
