Here's the current character

Make a game with platforming and puzzle levels where the water level dramatically rises (I'd suppose the protagonist is something that shouldn't touch water). 

Alternatively, you can have a game about "beating the odds", but you LITERALLY change the odds to make them more beatable. You would have a limit on how much and how many times you can change the odds. Therefore, you can make it harder or easier for yourself.
