Hello there!
I'm here to present you the game our small team has been working on : Boiling Bolt.
Boiling Bolt is a 2D scrolling shooter with breath-taking 3D graphics and stunning PopcornFx effects.
You play as June, a young rebel battling the oppressors that took over the world decades ago. You found a ship impregnated with a Boiling Bolt fragment, a mystic relic that finds the source of its power in the dawn of the World.
You must take on the waves of enemies coming to get you with an arsenal composed of:
- The Plasma Whip, short range attack dealing greater amounts of damage with the tip.
- The Magnetic Field, a zone causing damage to nearby enemies.
- The powerful Warp Launcher that creates black holes that attract your enemies before releasing a devastating explosion.

Choose your weapon wisely; your enemies will come together organized with strategies to take you down. Switch accordingly between your arsenal to surpass them. In case of emergency, you can always use your secret weapon, a time distorting energy that slows everything besides you: the Time Breaker.
In its current state the game has 2 levels and you can customize your ship with some passive skills (defence, attack and speed). The game is in closed beta and the release date is set to January 2017.
Boiling Bolt is also lucky to be part of the Itch.io Refinery's program.
