I posted my first ever game Space Invaders like 2 weeks ago and it's still quarantined. I try to contact itch.io and I can't because it says something like You need a new app to open this malito link. I recently uploaded my new game space invaders 2 and it is also quarantined.

Can someone tell me what to do? Could there be something wrong with my game file? My game file is in .zip format.

You probably don't have your browser set up to open mailto: links. Simply send e-mail to support@itch.io using any client. And as explained here, the exact checks are secret so people don't try to evade them, but I doubt it has anything to do with your choice of archive format. Zip files are recommended in fact.
