Hello, I'm having a resolution issue with your game. Everything looks very blurry at any resolution except 640x360. My native resolution is 1920x1080, I tried changing the resolution in the settings, but it just stretches the game window. In full screen it says 1080, but in fact it is not 1080 at all.

I play on a laptop, Windows 11, with Nvidia video card and Intel as integrated. The game only runs on an Intel video card, I don't know if this affects anything. I tried running the "ResetRMsetting.reg" file, but it didn't change anything. I tried deleting "GameLona.ini", without success.

Here's how it looks in full screen:

In comparison with the official screenshot:

I tried looking at other threads with the same issue and didn't find anything helpful. I tried checking the "Launch in Full Screen" checkbox in the game window properties, but this just causes my screen resolution to shrink into a tiny square.

The game is unaffected by any sort of gpu what so ever but you can probably help this some by changing your nvidia sharpness settings since it looks to be alittle undersharpened as for that menu at the end of your post do not use that its truely unsupported use the ingame fullcreen option

also try ResetRMsettings.reg

Thank you for replying to my post, as I said, I tried using the registry file and it didn't fix anything. Changing Nvidia settings didn't help either, because this game refuses to run on this video card no matter what.

However...

I found a solution to this stupid problem. I solved it by changing the screen DPI, this method is VERY far from ideal, but it works and may be useful to people with the same problem.

You need to right-click on the desktop, click "Display settings", then find "Scale & Layout" -> "Scale" -> "Custom Scaling" and set this parameter to 300% (if your screen resolution is 1920x1080), then click "Sign out now". All your programs will close and you will need to log in again.

This solution has a huge drawback, my desktop looks like this:

Very hard to use properly...
It doesn't shrink your screen or change the resolution, it just makes everything bigger.

But my game looks just fine, everything is sharp and in high resolution (need to turn on fullscreen in game):

To return everything as it was, you need to go to the display settings and click “Turn off custom scaling and sign out”. Yes, this is incredibly inconvenient, but at least it works. I can't believe I spent 50+ hours playing with this blurry mess, my eyes feel really bad now.

If you want to try this, the value is different for each resolution:

1280x720 = 200%
1600x900 = 250%
1920x1080 = 300%
2560x1440 = 400%
3840x2160 = 600%
Windows only allows 500% so this won't work with 4K.
Please use the exact value, otherwise it won't help and you may not be able to change it back if you set it too high above.

it refuses to run on videocard because it legitimately doesn't use any form of gpu acceleration at all you could use it on the nvidia card but it won't increase performance your post will help with future fix suggestions if i recall tehres a guy who posted previously who could benefit from your advice

Well... you could buy lossless scaling from steam (or pirate it) and upscale the game to your native resolution with sharp bilinear, and it looks the same as it does at 360p but with a bigger window. That's what I did.

Moderator edit: you could also just use obs studio and target the game window and set another monitor to fullscreen preview.

Also don't necro threads.-Annuilein
