I'm pleased to announce Ne Touchez Pas 5 is now available on itch.io. The fifth in a series that started in 2008, with today being the exact ten year anniversary of Ne Touchez Pas 3's release, number 5 resurrects the Ne Touchez Pas series with 100 levels, more to do within them, and a far prettier and more modern presentation overall. And to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of NTP3, I've made Ne Touchez Pas 5 free for this weekend - download it for nothing and keep it forever! (From March 4th, the game will cost $1.)
Take control of six characters with unique control mechanisms as you aim for the finish in 100 levels, with a single rule: do not touch. If it's a wall, do not touch. If it's a laser, do not touch. If it looks at you funny, do not touch!
Easy to pick up and with plenty of content to ease you in before the game hits its most challenging, Ne Touchez Pas 5 is both welcoming and difficult. Retry stages in an instant when you die and jump straight to subsequent levels when you don't. The game also contains optional pickups for added challenges, and tracks your completion time for each character on each level - take levels slow, or improve your time as much as you can. There's also a handy death count to remind you how much you forgot the rule and you touched.
Ne Touchez Pas 5 is a sequel nine years overdue and I had a lot of fun making it; I hope you have fun giving it a whirl! 😄
