Why is there no tag for NSFW games?

It seems like there's no reason not to.

Because that's a dedicated option in the game metadata instead.

Can you search by game metadata?

Yes, through the directory for instance.

Not seeing it,is it listed under something else then NSFW?

I don't think you can look specifically for NSFW games, that flag exists so people can filter them out. Might want to search for something more specific, like "adult".

Ah well, my original point still stands then,there should be a tag that lets you search for em instead of just using generic terms.

You'll have to convince creators of that. They decide what tags there are and how they're described. For example, yaoi and yuri exist, but not "hentai" for instance. And that reflects community preferences.

How odd,is there a way i could go about that? perhaps a forum thread with enough people opting in for it?

That sounds like a plan. Plenty of people read the community forum. At the very least it could be an interesting discussion.
