One year ago I had a comfy job at big company, daydreaming about doing something useful. Creating a game that makes people feel smart seemed like a worthwhile goal, so I counted my savings, realized I won't starve for a year, and jumped into making Terraforming Earth, a roguelike adventure where you solve puzzles by switching between robots.
