Reward Ads Allowed?

I did read the rules for creator uploads and I fully agree, intrusive ads and forced video watches are annoying and should be blocked, but what about reward ads? Ads you intentionally and actively have to activate to view and gain rewards from?
For example I'm making a hero collecting mobile game where there is a fully optional shop section where players can watch an ad and get Gold, Random Items and Soul Shards which can be used to randomly draw a new hero. Also when you do combat rounds at the end of a round, players can watch an ad to double their rewards. All these reward type ads are fully optional and obviously not mandatory, just think of an ad for a little incentive while generating a small amount of revenue while giving back to the player.

So In the end my question is, are these non-intrusive reward ads allowed by itch.io since they're non-intrusive, fully optional and only add benefits when the player actively clicks a button to begin the process of watching a short google ads and gaining a bit more bonus content?

Are you referring to this?

https://itch.io/docs/creators/quality-guidelines#avoid-obtrusive-advertisements-...

That is quality guidelines. Not tos. If people complain about your game, it might get removed from index, if staff agrees.

In other words, obtrusive ads are not forbidden. What is forbidden, is "adware".  And from context it can be assumed that they talk about the malicious kind of adware and not the technical definition of games that get revenue by showing ads, like so many mobile apps do.

Ah that makes sense, thanks for clarifying, :3
