FailCorp - My Game is under Quarantine, I don't understand

Hey everyone,

I recently uploaded my game 2 months ago, FailCorp, to Itch.io. However, I've run into a couple of issues and could use some help or advice from anyone who might have experienced something similar.
https://jordanlemahieu.itch.io/failcorp

  1. Game Not Referenced: It seems like my game still isn't showing up in the search results or the browse section on Itch.io. I'm not sure if there's a specific process or wait time for games to be indexed, but it's been a while, and I'd really like to get it visible.
  2. Quarantine Issue: When attempting to download the game, there's a message indicating that the page has been put in quarantine. I'm unsure why this is happening, and it’s frustrating because I want players to be able to access and enjoy FailCorp.

Has anyone dealt with these issues before? Any guidance on how to resolve them would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, a quick search of the forum would come up with lots and lots of topics explaining that

  1. quarantine is an automated measure triggered by certain kinds of changes to your game page
  2. the rules of this category explain what to do if itch.io staff takes too long to deal with it

Hope this helps.

Thank you a lot for the answer, to be honest. I'm a bit lost, I definetly read multiples times rules, Getting indexed on Search & Browse, Content creator quality guidelines pages during the last weeks. And I don't understand where the issue is going on with my project.

...Like I already said, there's probably nothing wrong. Quarantine means your project page was flagged by an automated process. Please wait. And I meant the rules of this category, which contain a useful hint.
