Hi! If I join with a team, do we need an extra account for our project (or is it recommended to make one)? Can such an account be registered with an email already used for a member's account?

Indeed you will need to use one account to submit the entry. My recommendation would be to make it a team account, so that you can create a fun little page about your group. I will post an updated version soon, but in the meantime here is the FAQ from the LocJAM5.
