What is considered a good view/play rate?

I just released a prototype called Senior Fear for a class that I am in. The final presentation is coming up and I am wondering what to compare rates to.  It is a business class so a lot of the emphasis is going to be on my analytics. I found that people say between 1%-3% is good for CTR, I am currently at 1.15%, but I couldn't find similar stats for view-to-play rates. Currently, I have 35.71% of views end up playing the game, not including downloads as my game plays in a browser and I am not exactly sure how people are downloading my game, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea how well that is. I know this site has big games and small games but a little insight for my presentation would be great!

Thank you so much for any insight!

There was a similar question about downloads recently. It seems to be the itch app. When it caches the game, that counts as a download.

How do you have hundreds of views in only 7 days of being here to have such an accurate number like 1.15%? What number is this derived from anyways, if you also have a play/view ratio? Did you advertise the game somewhere?

I would imagine it is highly unpredictable and depends very, very heavily on the type of game and the presentation. I talk about the ratio of people looking at your game site and playing the game. If they did not get enough information from the browse catalogue to decide if they would be interested, they might have looked at the game page. So the theory would be, if the preview is "good", more people actually interested in the game would visit and thus play. There is a thing of attracting the wrong audience and getting negative comments and ratings of disappointed players. Or simply leaving, after glancing at the actual description.

Also, people might put your game on a collection or bookmark to play later.

And I do not know how much influence this setting has
