itch.io app as a Snap (Universal Linux Package) - Suggestion

Hello everyone. The SnapCraft Linux app store (www.snapcraft.io) provides companies and individual users a one stop shop solution for designing, gaming, and productivity. As per the website " Snaps work across many distributions and versions of Linux. Bundle your dependencies and config, simplifying installs to a single standard command".

By using Snap as a container for a app, the act of downloading and installing apps across various Linux distros, (deb and rpm) becomes an easy and fast process. It also places an app in the Snapcraft store, which can bring massive fan base exposure to the app that is published.

I personally feel that the current process of downloading and installing the Itch.io app is overly complicated, confusing, and very time consuming. This undermines the potential reach of the app to consumers (gamers worldwide).  I think it would great if the Itch app was packaged and published as a Snap.  The Snap container was created by Canonical the maker of Ubuntu.

Please like this post and write responses so that it can get attention from the itch.io app developers.

Oh there's no snap package either? Would be so handy and convenient across all Linux distros. I hope one is in the plans though.
