Hi everyone!

We are a team of two who are working on a visual novel called Vicky's Afterlife. One of us writes the whole story while the other makes the sprites and makes the game work by programming it. What we need? Music.

As of right now, we can only get free Creative Commons tracks because neither of us has the capacity to compose original soundtrack.

We have influences from the When They Cry series, so we are looking forward to having that kind of music (from the tension and horror of Higurashi to the witch's badass tracks of Umineko). We are also thinking of creating an Opening, so we would need an original song as well (which lyrics could be co-worked with one of us so it makes sense with the story).

Because Vicky's Afterlife is, right now, a free Visual Novel (now in open beta), we really can't afford hiring just anyone to have the soundtrack ready. We are *mainly* looking for people who is okay with helping out for just the sake of love of music (even us two aren't paid, we just do it because we want to tell a story; money isn't the objective of this project... at least for now).

That doesn't really mean that we aren't open to make the sequels to be paid (the story could take at least 4 games to be told, so we could make the first totally free and the rest at a decent price). If that happens, we could reach an agreement where both of us and the composer are paid for the work after it's done and we get earnings (let's hope for it: first let's see what people think about the first game!).
