I don't recall ever triggering any Amelia-specific quests in my previous playthrough. Can anyone share some tips on where and how to trigger them?

After you've become mayor, you should get the letter to go see her for the initial quest. Finishing the first chapter should be the only trigger. That quest has been in the game for awhile.
I'm on my second playthrough now and have already finished Act 1. Is there a number of days passed required to trigger it after becoming mayor?
I was wrong, I had the characters or more accurately the exact quest wrong. I apologize, I thought I deleated this poast.

I haven't counted the days, but it takes several days.
Anyway they are timed, there is nothing you can do to trigger them.
how do you get amelia during her trial quest?
I don't remember the exact choices, but the last one was to offer to pay more than the mysterious buyer.
