what are some good engines for making interactive fiction/adventure games? (no code)

hey! I recently mademy first ever interactive fiction game on bitsy. I'd like to make more of similiar nature (story and pixel visuals focused) and am considering GB Studio as an alternative that allows for a more full fleshed game design.

Are there any other engines with an active community that support the development of similiar games with no code knowledge required?

What exactly are you looking for? Platformer? Point and click? RPG?

GameMaker is quite powerful for most 2D stuff and requires no coding knowledge, one of the first games I ever made was a retro style 2D shooter in it, I didn't even touch any code for making it.
