Unable to download normally, only alternate download mode works

Is there something up with Itch's servers? I can't seem to download anything directly from the site, and the only way I can get anything is to find a game that has "name your own price" and can give me the option of "alternative downloads". Other than that, the app won't download directly, and I can't get anything that doesn't have "NYOP". I'm probably a major noob, but this hasn't been a problem in the past.

There's no issues with our servers that we're aware of. It sounds like it's possible your internet connection might be blocking access to our CDN? Do you know if you have a firewall or other similar software on your computer?

Our images are served from the same CDN but from a different domain. Do images work on the site? If downloads don't work but images do then it sounds like the domain that is hosting games might be blocked on your computer: w3g3a5v6.ssl.hwcdn.net and v6p9d9t4.ssl.hwcdn.net

That might be it. It's weird, but I used to be able to download from Itch just fine, but I took a break, and when I came back, it was giving me issues. Is there a way to change the download option to "permanently alternative" or something, because it seems to work fine that way when I click on the "Name Your Own Price" optioned ones.

I found the problem. It turns out my computer settings were all screwed up, so I had to do a PC reset, and it works just fine now.
