hey ! just starting this game after finishing the previous episodes, the improvement in gameplay and overall aesthetics and feel are already a joy to behold.

Then friends are introduced, i thought 'wow yeass split screen will be awesome' but after going on a little, it seems its not the point and there's no multi...yet ? did you consider it ? seeing the other cats animate smoothly it seems it could be achievable, and i can think of so many  ways it would be awesome fun :3

Multiplayer could be a neat addition, but the game wasn't designed with that in mind. Adding it in properly in a way that actually makes the experience fun and the time investment worthwhile isn't a trivial task. There aren't any plans right now to add multiplayer.

I was also interested in this and... found it! The Cats are Online mod adds a multiplayer game to CaL-ABP (Cats are LIquid - A Better Place). The link: https://github.com/cgytrus/CatsAreOnline . As I understand it, this modification has been abandoned, so don't get your hopes up, but if anything, download mods via Thunderstore.
