Future Inspire Academy is announcing our first global game jam with prizes. We will have a prize pool of $300 in cash that will be split among the top three games! Future Inspire Academy is a growing non-profit organization that strives to teach game development in a fun and effective way. We offer daily challenges, weekly game creations, and one-on-one mentoring currently but we will continue to grow. All resources are provided to ensure that you can just focus on learning and coding away. We have gamified our activities by creating a point system to encourage participation. These points can be spent for extra money if you win our game jams! The specifics of the point conversion is on the game jam page; the conversion for our first game jam is very low so even if you join today, you can still earn enough points to earn at least a +$25 bonus to your winnings! A quick update: We have a PROMO CODE for PixelVibe subscription so that you can access the product for the entirety of the game jam. Although it's optional, you can certainly get an edge in the competition by training your own AI. Check out the jam and try out the product and see if it is of interest to you. Another quick update: You are allowed to use assets (still has to be free) for UI because the AI doesn't make UI designs. I will update this information on the itch page and on the server in a bit but here's just a quick place I can report the info informally

Small but a quite important update: We will not provide pre-generated assets for the game jam after clarifying with Rosebud AI. You will need to use our AI model (or any of the other available models) to generate your own art using the AI. If you haven't started yet, you guys should make sure you know how to generate assets using their product. We'll share the artistic theme at least a day before the jam so that you guys can prepare. Just wanted to post here one final time before launch. Thank you to everyone who has joined our game jam; the numbers have completely exceeded my expectations and the organization is looking forward to what you guys can make. The theme won't be announced in this post but will be posted on the website and on the server on June 5 12:00 am PST. It's advised that anyone who joins the jam should join the server because that way you get the latest updates about not only the current game jam but also future game jams and activities that we will have in our program that will boost your chances at winning various prizes throughout the year. I will be gone during the jam period too so moderators in the server will be on watch, but that doesn't mean they will be checking the community post that often so note that as well.
