In order to show the powerful and convenient use of the AI, we will require you to use it for this jam. Prior to the game jam, we will use PixelVibe to train an AI model off a certain artistic theme that will match the theme of the jam, but it is the participant's job to generate art assets. Only art from PixelVibe and Rosebud AI is allowed. You must either generate art using their product using any of the available models or use their free AI art on their website.

***Special Note*** - It's allowed to modify the AI art in any way and we are now doing a 90/10 rule where almost all of the assets must be from PixelVibe, but things like UI can be imported from other assets because the AI doesn't generate UI designs

Judgement (WINDOWS OR WEB BUILDS ONLY)

The game will be judged by one or two of the founders/co-founders of the organization. Judging will commence after the submission deadline and the results will be released the following week. Community voting is enabled, so during judging week participants are encouraged to rate each other's games and give constructive feedback. However, the only votes/scores that count are from the official judges (keep that in mind). The categories we will judge are the following:

• Theme
• Gameplay
• Aesthetics
• Music

Rules (NO TEAMS)

1.  No pre-made or self-made art assets, only PixelVibe art is allowed.
2. With that said, it is 100% ALLOWED to edit any of the AI generated art and do any sort of transformation necessary to do things like animations and color variation (asset flipping is okay)
3. Keep content clean, no NSFW, offensive, or sensitive content.
4. AI is allowed for code, but not anything else (besides PixelVibe)
5. Any game engine or software is fine
6. There is a late period of 1 day, contact Jason or Century if you need it.
7. You may use free assets for code, music, tooling, UI, and anything else besides art from sites like Unity Asset Store (Contact Roberto in the server for questions)
8. Games must be built for either Windows or Web

FAQs

1. Can users use other models on PixelVibe or they are required to only use Ancient Ruins?

Users can use any models on beta.pixelvibe.com. The model created for game jam is only complementary.

2. Can users edit the images they generated in Photoshop or other programs?

Users are allowed to make any changes to the assets they generated via our platform.

3. Can users use assets from pixelvibe.itch.io page?

Yes, users can use PixelVibe assets packs.

4. Can users use external assets for UI elements like boxes, menu?

Users can use other assets for UI elements as long as it doesn't exceed 10% of all assets.

5. I can't cancel my subscription via beta.pixelvibe.com, how do I make sure I don't get charged?

We have received reports that for some users the Manage Subscriptions button is not working. We are looking into it. Please if you run into this issue, message us on Intercom on beta.pixelvibe.com page and let us know that you are coming from FIA jam and want your payment info removed from your account. We will remove it manually. Even if you forget, we can still refund you later. We will make sure you don't get any charges. Please note that our Intercom support only works on working days and PST working hours. Thanks for your patience.

6. I'm having other issues with the platform.

Please message us on Intercom to get support or tag Roberto on Discord, he will be monitoring Discord once per day and you will get your questions answered.
