I spent the weekend putting together a functioning prototype for a mobile companion app called "groundswell", designed to help people who are dealing with anxiety/sensory flare-ups. I'd love to get feedback from the community here.

While it's not a traditional game, it is designed to encourage interactivity via audio, visual, and tactile/gestural sections, as well as built-in and customisable messages for if you're nonverbal. It's built in Storyline 3, an instructional design program that is basically a mash-up of photoshop and a movie editor - I'm happy to chat about it if you're interested.

Ideally I'll be able to build this into a more complete app, with some fancier features, but it's got core functionality plus some, and I look forward to building more things - next up is a more traditional dungeon-crawling game, unless one of the jams tickles my fancy.

Cheers.
