Great opportunity for someone looking to help build a business and work in community management,  graphic design, marketing, or sales with a focus on gaming and adjacent industries. 

About Us:

Faycrest Studios LLC is a start-up Indie Game Studio and we’re looking for someone to help manage our Discord community as well as social media, online presence, work with clients, manage online shops, and Patreon. Our goal is to create a supportive environment to create opportunities for artists, designers, and developers who want to make great games, tell stories, and strive for excellence in pursuit of our passions. Part of this includes building and engaging with our community and clientele. 

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a dedicated Community Manager to help manage our Discord server as well as other community platforms/pages (Patreon, Reddit, etc.) someone interested in marketing and working with others. A self motivated self managing person who enjoys talking to people online and hopefully in person for events too! 

If you are a graphic designer, streamer, strong communicator, or creator we definitely want to hear from you. 

Job Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Community Management: Manage Faycrest Studios Community discord server and community channels/pages. Keep internal and external informational resources up to date in an environment of rapid iteration. Work closely with the team to write and disseminate critical information about feature updates and bug related issues as they arise. 
  • Community Building: Taking initiative in creating community activities, assisting with managing user feedback, and generally ensuring engagement in our discord server. 
  • Customer Insights: Respond to/take into account individual customer complaints, inquiries, or insights about our game’s bugs, needs, or wants and cluster them together into trends/analytics for our team to understand. Present data driven community insights to team members. 
  • Brand Awareness: Collaborate with the Marketing team and other departments to understand insights to deliver on company goals. Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to operate autonomously in a start-up environment. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be a passionate person willing to grow with a startup studio.
  • Ability to maneuver social media tools to glean trends, statistics, and insights.
  • Knowledge and passion for video games and art!
  • Able to create fun and engaging events, activities, interactions with the community. 
  • Strong work ethic, and ability to work closely and collaborate effectively with other teams. 
  • Good command of English; strong written and verbal skills. Native English speaker is a plus.  
  • Be able to professionally represent the company's core values and missions when interacting with external parties.
  • Some working experience with community/social media management/sales/managing online stores is a huge plus!
