Hey all, I have a game coming out soon(ish) that is entirely online multiplayer and it uses Steam IDs for logging in. I'd love to be able to distribute it on Itch.io because I feel like this is the perfect place for indie games to thrive but it looks like in order to distribute anything you have to have some kind of a playable file to upload. There's no DRM on the game or anything like that of course, but you need Steam to be able to play it so I'm wondering if putting it up on Itch.io is even possible. Am I missing something or am I kinda out of luck?

Hey, sorry for missing your post. We can authorize developers to sell only Steam keys if they make a compelling case. What happens if you upload your build that uses Steam IDs. Will people be able to run the game without Steam installed?
