hi I'm new to this platform and medium I just started taking pixel art seriously at the end of November I'm wondering if you can make good pixel art that will sell with just an Android Samsung Galaxy A02s smartphone and the dotpict app or if there is any special requirement or equipment I need to get started.

Isn't that kind of early to worry about selling? How much experience do you have with other media?

not a lot I can make some interesting graphics with canva and that's about all I have knowledge of at the moment.

There’s not really a strict equipment requirement when it comes to pixel art. With that said, judging by the work you have posted currently I would recommend that you not attempt to sell your work for a while–you need to develop your art fundamentals, and trying to build products to sell at the same time is going to cut into that.

After all, if an asset can be made without a significant time investment or existing skills then most people won’t need to buy it–they could just make it themselves.
