Feedback for Alpha Sky Primitive

Hey All!

I've released my first 'stepping stone' game Alpha Sky Primitive

The specific questions I'd like to know about the game are:

- How do you feel about the artwork/music?

- What do you think about the UI, could anything be improved and if so what?

- What are your thoughts on the gameplay, namely how fun it is, how difficult it is and does it offer re-playability - is there anything that could be improved?

- What do you think about this game in comparison to other games in the action/casual genre, is there something missing?

- Do you like the score system and how could this be improved to increase the games competitiveness if you were to change it if at all?

- Anything else?

My main internal developer questions at the moment are whether to:

- Keep developing the game into something substantial.

- Keep improving the game on a more maintenance level until it reaches the point where it's as good as it can be as a standalone title.

- Begin working on sequels or spiritual successors to this game.

- Abandon ship and start working on more small games.

- Start working on/resuming bigger projects.

Please feel free to answer any questions you like (it doesn't have to be all of them) or discuss anything else related :)

Cheers,

Rhys

It looks like a game. I could only move left and right, despite 4 way controls in the description. It overheats my computer and then stutters. I was only able to play for a few seconds. The boxes were moving very slowly and were very easy to avoid.

Cheers for the feedback! I'll change the description to only include two way left and right controls, that's a typo. I'm quite surprised it overheats your computer though, I haven't had any issues with players saying that it can't run. Do you mind if I ask what hardware your machine has?

Really cool game, I like the art and UI. The music is really cool, and I love electric music a lot. The gameplay is fun, but it is not very replayable, sure you can try to get a highscore, but somthing I would change is to make things unlock with a highscore like cosmetics for the ship. Aside of that is a fun game.

Thanks very much for your feedback :)! Hopefully when I make a bigger game I can include your suggestion. That said, I could potentially add those features to this one if time allows... Thanks again :)
