Hi, everyone! In this jam, we’re going to tell a story together. We’ll come up with one (either real or existing) before the jam begins, and everyone will be assigned a piece of it. Each person or team will create a game, piece of writing, or other type of creative work to represent their assigned piece. When we’re finished, we’ll have one long narrative experience!

If you’d like to participate, click the link below and join! Please join before January 7th at 6 PM EST, at least if you’d like to help pick a story. We need to know how many individuals and groups we have so we know how to divide things up! (I’m considering allowing people to join later; they’ll just either have to join existing teams or be assigned the same section as someone else.)

We’ve chosen a story: Beauty and Beast! See the links below for reference:

But there isn’t quite enough of us to tell the whole thing, so we’re looking for more people to join!

Do you want to depict the father’s journey through the woods, desperately searching for shelter? Or would you rather navigate Beauty through the corridors of the Beast’s castle? There was interest in putting a horror twist on it, so if you like horror, this might just be for you!

If you’d like to help out, please join our Discord server at https://discord.gg/bFKbPhnf

It’s coming together, but we could still use more people! If you’re an artist or sound designer, your help would especially be appreciated.
