I know this can make good sprite art but what about the actual pokemon size 56x56?

Can someone show me this example. Regular art into 56x56 pixel dimension. I think that might be too small to "pull off" for this program .

Hey it's possible to get good result at this size. But not with all kind of arts, if the drawing contains too much details etc it can easily be messy with such low size and it requires to take times with the settings (color adjustment, palette and resampler/anti-aliasing) to catch the good color placement (to help to get always good color placement with the palette you want https://pixelover.io/docs/tutorials/use_indexation/).

I tried with the 3D model of Lucario for example (not perfect of course, but good compromise at this size) :

Maybe with some dithering ?

thanks a lot, I see what you mean, I tried the demo. It is very close to what I was looking for. I hope to see more updates or methods for that specific size to come. Specifically turn art into pokemon sprites.  I wonder if I can do a half step for a better conversion and then half that later back to 56x
