It's been a while, but it's finally here. First released in fall 2014 as a tech demo for the first Procedural Generation Jam, RogueBot -- my retro arcade game that involves exploring a random maze in under two minutes -- now runs natively on Windows and Linux, and you can have it for the low, low price of $1.
Right now the game looks much like the online version, with just a few extra niceties, but I have many potential refinements in mind, if there's enough interest. That doesn't mean I will neglect the original! You'll always be able to play the game for free in the browser. Consider the native edition a convenience, especially for people with older computers, as well as a way to show your support.
Currently there are no plans to add sound or music to either edition. But any other suggestions or feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!
