SfCArics is a port of Arics Expansion Rebred from Stive for Power. It is a combination of Arics Expansion Rebred, Stive for Conquest, and some of my personal edits. This would not have been possible without Aric and the Arics Expansion Rebred team, zeltop for their coding help and Magenta_Ivy for letting me 'borrow' the code for mge_body_parts.

Game Version: 0.10.0

Mod Version:  V0.2.4b

Requires:  Mod: Conquest Tweaks  (tw_slu) by zeltop 

Download: SfCArics

To install:

  • Install Conquest Tweaks (SfCArics only requires tw_slu, but is compatible with the whole mod)
  • Download Mod: SfCArics
  • Extract/unzip SfCArics_v(X.X.X).zip 
  • Windows:
    •  Copy and paste SfCArics folder into %appdata%/Roaming/Strive for Power 2/mods\
  • Linux:
    • Copy and paste SfCArics folder into ~/.local/share/Strive for Power 2/mods
  • When activating mod, place after Conquest_Tweaks: tw_slu and Conquest_Tweaks: alchemy_expansion

How to disable modules:

The modules in SfCArics are all stand alone. If you don't like one of the modules you can just delete the folder for that module in the mods/SfCArics folder.

Yes, it should be fully compatible with SfPRevamp. It should also be compatible with Conquest Tweaks (with compatibility patch) and MGEdits (but mge_natural_buffs won't give bonuses for the new sizes, yet)

how do the new races work? do they spawn in game?

They are definitely playable races for you and your starting slave.  Since most of the races are rare you may have to play for a couple of weeks for them to spawn in game.  I haven't had time to verify the in game spawns, but in theory it should work. 

Does this mod include the "bodiespreg / bodiesnaked" feature of the original mod? I can't seem to get it to work. My pregnant slaves don't change their portraits even though my bodiespreg folder includes files with identical names to their non-preg versions.

I haven't gotten that far.  Power and Conquest do things in different ways. So I have to figure out how the mod works in Power, then see how you would need to do that in Conquest.  Also, the original mod makes a significant number of changes, I started with some of the basics.

Updated to v0.2.1 to be compatible with Conquest v6.6a

So am I right in understanding that to get this working, we're going to need to wait for 0.6.6b or later, since Zeltop has said he won't be updating for this version due to some bugs associated with Conquest Tweaks?

The problem is with the main game. Zeltop did post the fix in the mod channel on the discord

Ah, I see. I kind of have the discord server muted. Does that mean if we implement the fix, then we should be able to load up the mod, or is that more so that it's fixed in the follow-up release?

Well, the bug is the game saves the game wrong and the save gets corrupted. The mods work fine, you just can't load a saved game

Game updated to 0.7.0, Is this mod still ok?

It needed a small update. The new version is compatible with 0.7.0a

Updated to v0.2.3c - SfCArics is now mostly compatible with the new paper doll system. I did not add any graphics for races and items to show correctly, but they shouldn't be weird and glitchy. I do still need to work on skin coverage. 

so it works only on version 0.7.0a

I haven't tested it on 0.7.1 yet.

Do we know if this works on 0.8.0a?

It does not, but I am currently working on it and should have a working version out soon.

Trying to install mod but the folder needed doesn't show up...

it's in the users\your username\appdata\roaming\strive for power 2 (you need to start the game once to create the folder)

Sorry just struggling with it not showing up in the game

The last version that SfCArics was compatible with was 0.7.0a. There were changes made to the character generation system in the main game and I am having difficulties getting arics_body_parts to work with them. Technically arics_positions still works, and I have a working version of arics_races but I haven't released it.

update? or dose it need one?

This mod is not current. I do have parts of it working that I am playtesting. Positions was working until the consent changes in Conquest 0.8.4, hopefully it just needs minor changes for it to work again

v0.2.4 for Conquest v0.8.5a - Still needs a little work. Positions is 100%. Races needs new Icons and some paperdoll work but is otherwise finished. New Traits module adds Perfect Traits for new character creation. Body Parts is not working as intended, however it does not give errors and sets up the framework for save compatibility later.

v0.2.4a Changes to wings on beastkin/halfkin bird and added unique icons to new races

v0.2.4b Updated for Conquest v0.10.0   Body Parts is now working for new sizes for existing body parts.
