Can I share the access the game I bought? Are there any plans for game sharing currently?

For example I would like to share a game that verifies through my account. Steam allows this with family share. I see from this post Can I share the download link to a game I bought? - Questions & Support - itch.io the admin who responded seems to have responded poorly. I doubt the intent of the person in question was to "steal" the game. Sharing games has been a thing for years hand your friend a game and they can play it on their system. As I said steam has family sharing which of course doesn't only have to be used with blood relatives. Its unfair to think that sharing would equate to stealing.

I don't want them to necessarily own the game or have a true copy just to be able to temporarily share it so they can play as well.

I also want to note the moderator's response wasn't correct either. They asked a question they not only knew the answer to after the admin explained policy but one they never seem to have intended to answer in truth. They could have responded with that answer in the first place.

So I want an honest and fair answer. Are there games that you can share through your account? Are there any plans to share these games?

Check the timestamps. Leaf answered after me, but his answer is pinned, so it's displayed first. And what exactly in my post suggests that I already knew the answer?

As for your present question: itch.io isn't Steam. We don't have DRM, so people can already share games if they really think that's fair. The question is where do you draw the line between sharing and piracy. Doubly so as most games here are very cheap if they cost anything at all. What "very cheap" means to people in different countries and different situations, that's another problem.
