Itch.io repeated delays getting our Ukraine jam on Calendar and no response to support tickets

When we first published our Ukraine DRPG Summer Jam on August 5th we thought it’d be on the Itch jam Calendar in a day or two and give us three weeks before the August 25th start date to publicize it using the Itch jam Calendar listing.  But days turned into weeks and we were forced to republish the jam with a September 17th start date.  Weeks passed again without the jam appearing on the Itch jam calendar, so we had to republish our jam again, with an October 29th start.  We even had to change the name from Summer Jam to Fall Jam.

It’s been a month since I republished our Ukraine DRPG Fall Jam with the new October 29th start date.  And still, no response from Itch.io on our support ticket asking for an explanation for the delays and help to get our jam on the Calendar.

I am at a total loss trying to understand why our Ukraine jam is failing to be listed on the Itch jam Calendar.  I’m also deeply upset that there’s been zero response to my support tickets asking Itch to explain why our jam is being delayed.

We've discussed canceling doing a Ukraine-themed jam on Itch.io if the Calendar posting delay continues for a couple more weeks. It's been just too many delays and no response from Itch.io on why it's happening. Our Ukrainian members and partner orgs are very demoralized about the situation and wondering why Itch.io won't do anything to help our Ukraine project.

If anybody has any ideas on how we can get our jam on the Itch.io jam Calendar, or explanations for why our jam is being delayed, or why Itch.io is failing to respond to our support tickets, I'd love to hear it!

We just want to do some Ukraine-themed game jams on Itch.io that help raise awareness and support for Ukraine and fight the spread of Russian tyranny.

I have no idea why (perhaps it was this posting?) but our Ukraine DRPG Fall Jam appeared on the Itch.io jam Calendar this Saturday morning! Our jam team is in shock! But in a good way!

I am deeply grateful to whoever at Itch got our jam on the Calendar.  I wish I knew who you are. If you ever get to Kyiv there's a place to stay and all the borscht and cabbage rolls you can eat!

So everybody, come and join our jam!  It's going to be great, with some unique jam social experiences and nice prizes for the best jam games.
See you there!
