Hi all,
Recently I launched a mobile game for kids in Vietnam, developed for free by a great local company Topebox along with a local Anti Littering NGO Vietnam Clean & Green. The Game is Green Turtle here (Called 'Anh Hung Rua Xanh') on iOs and Android and it's aimed at teaching kids an anti littering message. Please feel free to try it. Here's an academic conference paper we did on it. (Part of this project is because I feel that research and academic stuff should do good in the world). We don't really have funding for the project and we are working on a grant application to launch an in-school education project about littering in Saigon (Don't worry we don't need money). What I would really appreciate is some help to get the game up here in the form of advice and also maybe how we could make this more global. Give the game a go, it's all in Vietnamese (by deliberate design) but it's a simple runner game. Students actually made the original Turtle design, click here.
So my first question is, given I have the Unity files and builds made in C#, what should I do with that to optimise the website version here? I'm not a programmer but I don't mind putting my hand in my pocket to have a programmer here tweak the files. So if anyone can spare the time to give me some advice on how to direct someone to make the game ready for upload. I would really appreciate it
The second question is are any of you interested in talking to me about what we could do with this game to spread the message. If you play the game those loading screen messages in Vietnamese all have a positive message about how we can protect the environment btw. Basically I view this whole project as the first step in other projects. Make this game a success and I would be looking for grants or raiding corporate CSR programs to contribute in some way to making kids environmentally aware, in Vietnam or abroad. So please feel free to leave a reply here and I'll get back to you. Alternatively feel free to hit me up with an email at bmackx30@gmail.com
Thanks for taking the time to read. Peace Out. Brian
