hello ive seen ppl use gif as profile icon

i tried making a gif but it does not play when i upload it as to my profile image

is there any special requirements for this

Gifs are supported on thumbnails for projects, but also on project/profile pages. I’m not sure I’ve seen gifs used on a profile picture before.

Out of curiosity, could you share a link to an account with an animated gif as profile picture?
