Hi everyone! It's been almost a year since the last news from MMM Games. This is because I started going with MMM Games in another direction. And I needed time to set everything for a new beginning. Since I started making games, I tried creating small stories with an intense atmosphere, but my games never turned out to be as I planned. But, since then, I discovered new programs and learned new skills. And I think now it's time to start making my dream games.

But all of this wouldn't be possible without new modern technologies. For example, Twine allows me to create branching stories, while Midjourney A.I. helped me add incredible art to my games. I also started learning how to make music in FL Studio, so I can give my games the exact atmosphere I want.

And so, after almost a year of preparations, I am ready to present my first game as a new start for MMM Games. The game is called "At the dream end". More info about the game can be found on an official page https://mmmindiegames.blogspot.com/

In short, it's Interactive Fiction with RPG combat. I can only show you screenshots for now but more news will be published soon!

I felt someone's presence. And out of the deepest darkness, I heard the sound of wings. Slowly the two silhouettes approaching me became more and more clear. They were two brothers. Owls on which I conducted experiments. They were ready to attack.

Since I knew them from the very beginning, I knew how developed they became during the experiments. And I also knew that if I wanted to survive the encounter with them, I would have to do my best.

I looked myself in the mirror. If it weren't for this young wolf-human hybrid body to transfer my life energy into, I wouldn't survive. But I can't remember how I got into the mind-transferring capsule.

...The Butcher. The things that he said to me before stabbing. He truly believes he is a chosen one. The one who will lead us to the next step of evolution. But the only thing he is doing is destroying our entire planet... The worst thing is, even if I manage to kill him, I don't know how to reverse the damage he has already done to our world...

In today's devlog I will write a bit about the gameplay. :)

At the Dream End is a choose-your-adventure type of game. The game is separated into three chapters and each chapter will have one or two endings and only one true road that will take you to the next chapter.  And only if the player successfully passes chapters one, two, and three the true ending will be unlocked. And the true ending will also unlock a bonus story (a linear chapter where you will see events from the perspective of the main antagonist - Butcher).

Also, the encyclopedia will be available on the title screen. Here you can find additional information about characters and locations. You unlock the information by simply visiting characters and locations. To unlock the full encyclopedia, the player must play chapters several times and go through different story options.

AT THE DREAM END Character presentation: Butcher

Butcher is a creature with many faces. Some believe he is not a human at all. 

He was a leading scientist on the greatest bio project of all time. The project called Tabula Rasa. 

He was one of the few people that survived the great massacre after the Tabula Rasa experiment failed. He saved everyone he could but the way he did that was... well... Even then we saw that he is not just an ordinary human. 

And after that incident, he became more and more distant. Until now, when he proclaimed himself as an angel and leader of the human race. The one who will bring evolution to the next step...

At the Dream End - Release Date Trailer

We've been working hard on "At the Dream End" for a long time now, and we're thrilled to finally be able to share a final trailer that will reveal a release date for the game on Steam, GameJolt, and Itch.io.

We've put a lot of effort into crafting a compelling story that will keep players engaged and invested in the game's characters and plot.
