Quick Question About Updating An Art-Asset Pack!

Hello everyone, my team has a game uploaded here on Itch, and we also sell an optional asset pack with stuff like colored images and production sketches that buyers can pick up during checkout for some extra cash.

We'd now like to update this asset pack because we've produced more content for it since it was first uploaded (it went from ~700MB to almost double that), but there's no "update" option when trying to edit it, only "delete" and "change display name". And Butler seems waaaay too complex for what we need - the asset pack is just a .rar archive full of .png images, it's not a complicated executable like a game that has a million small changes and internal data structures that require tech wizardry like Butler to successfully update it.

I'd just delete the old file and upload the new one, but I'm afraid that will force the people who've already bought it to re-buy it again (since ownership probably wouldn't transfer between different entries on the game page), and that's not what we want. Is there some way to just swap out the old .rar archive for the new one without having to mess around with Butler? The file type is tagged as 'Graphical asset' under Itch's classification system, if that helps.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

Uh, no, actually, as explained in many topics, people buy a project. So once they paid for your assets, they have access to any files you upload to the page, in perpetuity. And you don't need to delete the file first, you can simply overwrite it. If there's no more room, you can ask support for a quota increase. Hope this helps.

Just one question: how do I actually overwrite the file? Because I don't see any button for that, there's only "delete file", "change display name", and "move up in queue" when I go to edit it on the game page. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here.

Here's a screenshot for reference:

Simply upload another file by the same name.

Cheers, will do! Thank you! :)

Oh and, I've contacted Support to increase our storage capacity from 1GB, but they've not responded and it's been almost 2 days now... Should I resend the request, or is it normal for them to take this long? I don't want to spam their inbox if it's not necessary.

...Two days is a very short time, even for high-priority issues. Please allow more like a week.

Hey thanks for the reply! :)

And I've sent an e-mail to support asking for more space above the default 1GB, thx for the heads-up! :)
