Puzzle Chess! A fun puzzle game with chess pieces (Now with demo)

This is the first game I've made. It has two simple rules:

You have to capture a piece on every move
You must capture pieces until only one remains

It seems simple at first (and it's very easy when starting with 4 pieces) but when you get to 7 and 8 pieces puzzles the game can get really hard.

You may spend quite a long time figuring one of the harder puzzles out!

Every board has only one solution making you really want to figure it out.

It's a simple but fun game, if you're into puzzles I'm sure you'll love it!

I also released a demo version with one level of each difficulty setting.

That sounds like a really cool idea for a puzzle game. Are the levels hand made or randomly generated? And if they are hand made how many levels are there?

The levels are pre-generated. Every possible level, with 4 to 8 initial pieces, that has only one solution is included. There's millions of them!

Have you curated the levels at all? And are all the levels on a 4x4 grid? Is there any progression in the game? Sorry for all the questions haha.

All the levels are on a 4x4 grid. I haven't curated them haha, some of them are really easy and some are really hard. There's no progression, you choose the ammount of pieces and begin a random level. It's supposed to be played for a few minutes like solitaire or minesweeper.

That makes sense, though I feel like it would benefit a lot by having a series of hand picked levels to play through. Regardless, I'll pick it up tonight. Congrats again on releasing your first game!
