I just launched my new game, Hex Two. It's a minimalist puzzle game where you hop from tile to tile trying to clear them all from the level. Compared to the original, it features many new tile variations and several new accessibility features such as a grid overlay, color assist mode and dark background/night time mode. Please check it out so I can continue to make video games. https://studiogoya.itch.io/hex-two

That makes sense, though I feel like it would benefit a lot by having a series of hand picked levels to play through. Regardless, I'll pick it up tonight. Congrats again on releasing your first game!

Have you curated the levels at all? And are all the levels on a 4x4 grid? Is there any progression in the game? Sorry for all the questions haha.

That sounds like a really cool idea for a puzzle game. Are the levels hand made or randomly generated? And if they are hand made how many levels are there?

Congrats on launching your first game!!

Hey everyone

I just released my first game, Hex, here on itch.io. I've added a 33% discount to celebrate its launch. If you decide to buy it, please tell me what you think, I'd love to hear from you!

What is Hex?

Clear all the tiles to win in this unique logic puzzle game!

Navigate each level by jumping either one or two spaces away in any of the six hexagonal directions. But be careful, leaving a tile clears it from the board. You must plan ahead and clear the entire level before you can continue onward to the next puzzle, so before you start hopping, be sure you don't need that tile!

In your journey through Hex, you will experience a wide range of tiles that will challenge you and fundamentally change the way you approach each puzzle. Some will alternate on and off, some will spawn extra tiles around you, some will even teleport you across the board!

Do you have what it takes?
