Use of Tutorials in a Game Jam

Hello. I just recently started my first game jam. However, as I am new to game design, I was wondering if I am allowed to use tutorials to help me while designing my game (not the whole game, just something like enemy ai)? I know that prewritten code isn't allowed, but what if I were to use a tutorial as a base to learn and build on?

I don't see why not, but ask in the specific game jam community if you're not sure.  Jam hosts set their own rules, but unless it's some ridiculously competitive one I would think it'd be fine.  Lots of people use jams as an opportunity to learn something new.

K, thanks! From what I can see it's not against the rules but just wanted to clarify.
